The location in a good area was amazing.

Airy and fashionable room for storage in wardrobe was enjoyable. The staff was hospitable at all levels. Location: the hotel was very close to certain areas, and a 3 star pub. It also was in front garden.

Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere! Great food and the staff were lovely. Only downside was the shower that could've been a bit warmer. Would definitely come back! 🌟

The food here is an absolute winner-dinner and breakfast had me buzzing! The Butcombe beer is great. The cozy bar area and warm vibe.

Only a wee hiccup was the musty smell in the room, but it didn't overshadow the good experience overall.

We explored the fine safari park nearby and enjoyed endless walks in the New Forest. The vibe was very laid-back. Breakfast was fab, especially the eggs benedict-a must-try.

We didn't use the bar in the evening but noticed it was quite busy, a bit hard to escape the hustle and bustle after a long day of activities.

The stay was perfect for a family wedding in the area. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a bath and a separate shower, which was a great plus. The breakfast options were excellent, and the staff went out of their way to help us find replacements for some forgotten items. it was a lovely experience with great amenities.

The double room had all the essentials, heating, a tv, a private bathroom with a shower, and tea facilities like an electric kettle. Towels and linens were fresh. Spa facilities were an added treat. Breakfast included options like smoked salmon and delicious scrambled eggs. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was just right.

Nice place with wi-fi, a lovely bar area, and great dining options. On my first stay, staff helped with evening plans, which I remember fondly. Highly recommend their delicious breakfasts! Coming back for a romantic escape.

The food was a highlight, with a good marinated fish dish and a solid breakfast. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, primarily due to the aloof staff and an unruly group of diners, which detracted from the experience. I had hopes for a warmer environment but left feeling less inclined to return.

Everything was brill in terms of staff service, breakfast was lovely, and our room (the king john room) was fab. Really comfy and enjoyable stay for the family wedding, the atmosphere was chill and staff were super friendly.

My room (perazzi) was warm, cozy, and super clean. Supper and breakfast were scrumptious. The staff was friendly and professional. The chef even re-cooked my scrambled eggs after a misstep, which shows great attention to detail. Such a nice touch!
